DESCRIPTION OF YOGA STYLES:

Akhanda Yoga:

The intention of Akhanda Yoga is to offer holistic, integrated classes including asana, pranayama, relaxation, mantra, and meditation. Akhanda means indivisible, unbroken tradition, entire and whole.

Ascension Aerial Yoga:

Using hanging swings/hammocks suspended from the ceiling to experience a therapeutic, zero gravity alignment based approach to supported asanas.

Hatha Yoga:

Hatha Yoga focuses on foundational poses with detailed instruction including modifications. Pranayama (breath) and asana (postures) assist in physical and mental purification.  

Kundalini Yoga:

Kundalini Yoga is known as yoga of awareness, focusing on expansion of the senses and intuition. Active and passive asana, pranayama and meditation are used to target the chakras and whole body system untapping energy located at the base of the spine.

Restorative Yoga:

Restorative Yoga ignites the para-sympathetic nervous system which is imperative to healthy digestion and encourages our bodies natural healing ability. With the help of props such as blocks and bolsters, Restorative Yoga assists us back into a state of balance. Poses are held for an extended period of time (typically 5 minutes or more) to experience the nourishing and therapeutic benefits.

Vinyasa Flow:

Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic form of yoga connected with the awareness of breath and movement. Modifications are be offered to suit varying levels of students.  

Yin Yoga:

Yin Yoga promotes increased mobility and flexibility, and regulates the bodies energy flow. It works the deeper levels of the connective tissues, joints and bones and the energetic channels of the meridians, nerves and blood system. Poses are held for an extended period of time in a passive approach that allows for a meditative journey.

Yoga Nidra:

Yoga Nidra assists in cleansing the unconscious mind and helps to reduce stress and anxiety. Using a systematic method of conscious relaxation, we unleash the opportunity to tap into new sources of insight and restoration.

HOLISTIC NUTRITION CONSULTATION | $120 (60-min + follow-up session)

We will discuss your physical symptoms, diet and lifestyle to create customized guidelines towards your health goals. Included are recipes, handouts and self-inquiry exercises. We will integrate principles of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
